What We Do

SCS is primarily a training centre. Owned and managed by Nikki Durkee, a British riding instructor and trainer,  We train and retrain horses from the ground to the saddle. Using many natural horsemanship and Pirelli methods in everyday training, we insure that the horse looks forward to its daily training. We specialize in taking horses that have been sitting out in the pasture for long periods and bringing them back to fitness and full work.

We put the fun into training!

Rehab & Rescue 

In this dreadful economic climate, one of the unknown and forgotten victims has been the family horse. This horse, loved and looked after for years is suddenly homeless when families are losing their home or reach financial crisis. Food on the table for the family becomes hard to provide and hay or grain in the pasture impossible. Many of the horses that come to us have been through this scenario. We do not judge the owners, we take care of the horses, providing medical attention, love, training and eventually re-homing. Click on Rehab & Rescue
